I watch Amazon all the time from my Samsung Smart TV. It works from the K8500 too, so what you hear isn't true

I have been streaming Amazon video using this player for the last few days. So yes, Amazon streaming is available on the k8500.

Yes it does allow Amazon prime video streaming. I watched it last night with the BD player.
