NEVER use liquid soap in a dishwasher! It will "super-suds" all over the place!

Please try again later.You can use dishwashing liquid in your dishwasher, but....fill the detergent hopper with a heaping teaspoon of baking soda first, then no more than 6-8 drops of dishwashing liquid. The baking soda will keep the soap from creating mountains of suds. Cheaper than conventional detergent for your dishwasher, and it works well for me.
