NO IT CAN'T. THE BACK OF THE PHONE IS THE ONLY WAY TO CHARGE IT

Unless your phone is somehow different than mine in charging aspect I'm pretty sure it won't work with your model either. Aside from that it is a great charging doc. I charge my phone, my wife's iPhone XS max and my Galaxy watch 3 with absolute no problem. Hope this helps.
