• I read 16 gauge wire from various folks, bought 16 gauge that came in yesterday, and can assure you it's definitely thinner. I dont know if 18 or thinner. BUT, just to check, I spliced the 16 gauge to the provided wire, about 20 feet extra, and seems to work fine. I'd still go with a higher gauge.

• I lengthened mine to almost double the original and I could not hear any difference in the operation of the speakers. I am estimating the wire gauge at 18. I used car audio speaker wire.

• The supplied wires length is 13 feet (for each speaker). Also the power cord is 5 feet long.

• Hi JP, Samsung does not offer any different length speaker wire kits. The wires are approximately 10" long. The contents of the box are: Wireless Receiver Module, Surround Speaker (2EA), Power Cord, Speaker Cable (2EA), User Manual. Glad I could help, ^Scott
