“Is this a good memory card and class to record HD video on a Canon SD940?”

• Yes, you could use but I would use something with a faster read/write speed, like the Extreme by SanDisk. The R/W speed is 80/50MB/s speed vs 30MB/s. In fact, I use Extreme SDcards in my Nikon camera and Sony HD video camera.

• You can use this memory card to record HD but the card will fill up very fast. If you plan on removing the videos from the card shortly after recording and putting them on DVD then you could use this card. Otherwise, I would reccommend getting a "High Capacity Card"
