“The player is asking me for a password, but I did not create a password. Is there any way to fix this?”

• I have owned SanDisks for years and not sure what is asking for a password. I have used it for audio books from my library as well as music.

• There is no password I hook it to my laptop down load the music I have two no problems if you would have screenshot it I could have given you a better answer

• Press and hold the right arrow until you see Radio. Continue pressing until Books appears, continue pressing until Folder appears, continue pressing until Card appears, continue until Sport appears, continue until Settings appears. Press the center button until the Settings menu appears. Click on System Settings. Scroll down the menu until Restore appears. Click on Restore. It should now restore back to factory settings.
