• Just plus into the wall outlet or when you connect the USB to your deaktop or laptop it'll charge

• The SanDisk mp3 player is equipped with a short USB cord to connect it to the computer for downloading your music. This cord also allows the mp3 player's battery to recharge as long as the computer is on. I have purchased additional items to recharge the mp3 player when I'm traveling and my computer is not available. A USB wall charger is one (works where electricity is available). I personally use a Dynex wall charger (DX-MAC1US) it's very inexpensive but works well for me. When there is no electricity for the recharge I use a Dynex™ - 2000 mAh Portable Charger (DX-2602) to do the job.
