“How long does it take to fully charge the device and how long does a full charge last? Thanks.”

• It didn’t take more than a couple of hours to charge fully, not sure yet how long a charge lasts, but I’m told one should allow the device to run down completely the first couple of times, recharging it from empty.

• Do not buy this player. It can't be turned off while charging so it keeps playing draining the battery while you have it plugged in trying to charge it. Verified by Sansa customer service. They told me that this is the way it was designed to charge. Just plain stupid. Do not buy!
