• Music needs to be in MP3, WAV,WMA, or AAC format. This is not typical of CD's. You would need to convert the CD formatted music into one of the above file types above. This would require a computer.

• No, you definitely need a computer to put mp3 files onto the mp3 player. That's the only way I know of to put music on it. You can download the songs on your cd to the computer and then transfer them to the mp3 player.
