“I purchased a 16gb expandable and battery died in a year. What should average battery life be? Can I create favorites or playlists on device? Sandisk sent a convoluted process to create playlists on pc then transfer to unit that never worked.”

When the Sandisk Clip Sport is new the battery can play a continuous 20 hours. After 3 years of heavy use the battery life degrades to about 8 hours.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had a number of sandisk clip sport and always had battery life of at least 8 hours after heavy use. However the expandable memory chip which snaps in to place will snap out if not handled delicately. I've had better results with the 16 MB fixed memory.
