Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should charge while plugged into the usb port and sync to the radio without the 3.5mm jack. Better yet, load the music files to a usb thumb drive, plug it into the port, and sync it to the radio. The number of files is limited only by the storage capacity of the drive. I currently have my entire collection (41GB, 527 albums, 6398 tracks) on a 64GB drive with room to spare, but expect to soon need a higher capacity drive.
