I've tried everything possible to put music on this thing with no luck. I have a brand new Dell computer with Windows 10. I've tried plugging this thing into every single USB port available on the computer and it never registers as being connected. null

Not this particular device but a previous MP3 player I really had to "jiggle" the connections before the computer recognized the device.

I'm using a desktop Mac so I'm not sure about Dell and Windows10

Is the MP3 player fully charged? I’d start there. Then have you tried a different cable to connect the player to the pc? I’d try that. Otherwise exchange it.
