No, you cannot record from an fm station.

No. This unit is NOT a recorder...playback only. You CAN hookup a recording device from the (output) headphone jack (1/8") to the input(s) of the recorder. Depending on your equipment, you may then be able to move your file from your recorder to your computer and then drag and drop the file into the player.
