I have Garmin 50LMT with dash cam. The micro sd card works in both the memory and card slots.

Please try again later.In my opinion, it would be an overkill to use this SD card in a GPS since the critical factor for a GPS is the SD card's READ capabilities--to fetch map data as fast as possible. This particular card is typically for uses that require fast READ *and* WRITE speeds like for recording with a video camera. For Garmin GPS use, one could find and utilize something that is not as costly but yet will still provide the fast READ capability. Check the Sandisk specs for their different lines of SD cards as there are quite a few cheaper options that will be just as effective.
