Works perfectly for Nintendo Switch. It does not HAVE to be U3, but it's the fastest, so when you need loading to be done NOW, U3 is what you need but U1 or U2 works great too.

Yes it will work with a Switch !! It is actually recommended that you use a 4k MicroSD over a regular, non 4k, card.
