I bought it online since most stores won't stock higher price items. If you need a sturdy flash drive for archival purposes or other heavier duty use, this one is better made than most of the more inexpensive drives.

I ordered mine online, and I contacted the online folks to pricematch it for me. I doubt the 256GB will be available in store for awhile, or at least until it gets a bit more well-known. But don't quote me.

Amazon says this will be available starting February 1 2017, so it should be available at stores on February 1 or shortly after that.
