Q: QuestionHas anyone used this SD card for uses other than photo or video? Does it work for storing music?

• A:Answer Storing music is far, far less demanding and this is a waste for music. This card is for tasks that require super fast write ability like photo and 4k video recording. So yes, it can store music just like a Ferrari can idle through a parking lot.

• A:Answer The cards physically have more pins/contacts thus allowing a faster read/write rate but your device must support the additional pins. The higher end Nikon DSLRs with SD slots such as the D500 support UHS-II. Check your device manual for UHS-II support or check the device website.

• A:Answer Yes, but not at UHS-II speeds. The camera needs a UHS-II slot (has extra connectors) to get the rated speed.
