That depends on the camera rating ( 8mp - 14mp Megapixel ) and what resolution you use on the camera / phone. Some DSLR cameras can take up to 5megabyte file size picture files using the high resolution setting. Roughly you can use the following table at Sandisk to determine the capacity depending on your camera and settings. For example you should be able to store 15000 pictures that have roughly a 2 megabyte file size on this 32 gbyte card. You can see the file size you camera/phone is creating from the settings for the picture resolution generally.
