I prefer the Sansa clip over the shuffle because it has a screen. It's super small and very light but I would pick this one hands down. As for your concern over the clip breaking, the player is light enough that you could use a lanyard to wear it around your neck. Since the player is small and light, you wouldn't be able to tell whether or not you lost it if you clipped it on or if the clip for some reason broke off. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Sansa Clip + has a solid, pocket-friendly design with dedicated volume controls and a built-in belt clip. The fact that the clip itself is non-detachable makes its current design both reliable and durable. That is on top of a simple interface, solid sound quality, and plenty of other handy features.
