Will this hold 4000 pictures? null

How large are the pictures? Assuming you are using Windows Explorer, right click on the folder that contains all the photos; ie. My Pictures. Click on "properties". the window that opens will show you the size of the folder contents. The flash drive will not have the full capacity that the descriptions suggests, but it will be close to it. That should give you an idea if your flash drive is even close enough to hold the pictures.
