• Samsung Galaxy Note 8 should have came with something called on-the-go (otg) adapter. One end plugs into the phone (universal serial bus type c) the bottom is female usb A in which the this Sandisk plugs into and then photos from the Samsung Note 8 phone can be transferred to the usb flash drive.

• No it needs a usb plug and not micro usb. You need a micro sd card
