• Software and operating system are unimportant. What is required is that the computers or other devices have the same type of connector, namely, a Type A USB (female). If you want to have a more interesting experience, there are also several ways to copy photos from one PC to another without using USB ports at all. Goggle it!

• Yes it is. It is better than coping to a CD or DVD. The only thing better would be to put a SSD in your desktop and transfer your data to it. It is time to get updated to Windows 10
