Pam: Sure thing! It comes compatible with PCs and Macs, but I would reformat the drive to "ExFat." That way you never have to worry about how big the file size is (Fat32 won't accept files larger than 2 GB.) and it will work with both Macs and PCs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah it can be used in your desktop.. Just make sure your cabinet has slot for fixing smaller hard disks..Since this SSD isn't spinning any disks you don't really need to screw it down but that does help from the occasional bumps..
