The difference is the write speed of the micro as card. For high speed cameras or a GoPro,the ultra is the best write speed with no lag or delays during picture taking or videos. Also, compare to Samsung write speeds. They are usually cheaper.

The Ultra is a faster chip so you won't experience a delay when saving say a picture to memory or when recording video. You need the Ultra or faster chips for the best performance. A bit more expensive but a must have.

I believe the Ultra Plus records vidoes at a higher write speed (for fast motion videos)....and yes, you can use it in your MicroSD slot.

It has to do with the speed the card works. The higher the MB's (megabytes) the faster the card works. Example is if you use the card in a camera, a faster card will save the picture to the card faster (the camera has something to do with also). Yes it can be used as long as it's a micro sd. The term micro sd refers to the type of card and ultra refers to like the model of that card but look for the MB's, the higher the faster and more expensive.

Ultra Plus is basically an indication of speed, which a class 10 card will do a minimum of 10MB/s
