Sure---I got this for my recently purchased LG K20. You can't change the amount of internal memory in a phone and some things can only be stored in the internal memory, like the operating system (of course!) and many apps. However, you can use an SD card to store photos, downloaded docs/images and app data where possible (information associated with an app as opposed to the app's "operating"I software). This saves internal memory for the things that have to go there. Make sure you change phone settings to automatically save photos to the card, etc. I used a 32gb card in the LGK10 I just replaced. That phone had 16 gigs internal memory and using the SD card was helpful in maximizing internal memory. When I replaced that phone the SD card had become corrupted, so I bought this card because it is a better brand and I expect will be more durable. Good luck!
