Yes. It's great for video. It will hold anywhere between two and four hours of video depending on the resolution and codec used.

I'm no film maker but I do on occasion capture video of my 2 year old doing funny things. I would say it would hold at least an hour of straight solid video. Now if you were going to film lengthy sports events or similar, I would look for no less than 64GB. But for the average film shooter, this is fine.
