“Is this drive reliable? I see reviews saying that after a short period of time the drive will go corrupt and lose data. I want to use this for my Xbox 1 S to store games so I would for sure want to keep all my data intact.”

I have used it for a few months and it had never given me any trouble. Hard drive technology is so mature these days. Its reliability should not be a concern.
