It's as durable as any Seagate Portable drive - it probably can't handle a fall to concrete but it should be ok if it was to travel in a case. I keep it next to our XBox and it doesn't move.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's Durabale, I use both WD and Seagate and both work perfect
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit has much better value. As for reliance it has a very high MTBF ( mean Time Before Failure ) comparable to Desktop hard drives. The biggest plus is that it has all the durability and capacity you should need unless you are a rocket scientist, but even then its pretty useful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 6 W.D. external drives. 5x4tb 1x6tb. This gave me the same space at a 1/4 of the size. No outlet required. It is not fast, but dependable and easy to just drop in your shirt pocket when needed to transport 4 terabytes on the low down. More than worth the cost too! Nothing can beat our W.D. Drives hahahahahah
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well I bought last year's version for my oldest son and he says it still works great and hasn't had any issues with it. So I bought this new one, same size for my younger son's Xbox one as well and it stores all his games perfectly. So far very happy with this product and brand. Also spoke to a Geek Squad rep before I bought this more recent one, and he totally recommended it over the Microsoft Hard drive made for the Xbox one. He also feels it's a better value...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a three-year-old 3 terabyte external USB Seagate drive that just died I'm replacing it with a Western Digital one. My internal Western Digital drives have been running solidly for 7 or 8 years without issue. Just my two cents
