I think so, but I would not do it. This uses a USB C connection. Not as fast as you'll need. Think SCSI drive with a 200 serial bus. However, it can be reformatted anyway you want. For that matter, just daisy chain them. get a port replicator and connect as many as you want. USB3+ speed.

I'm not positive if you can segment this single drive like that, though I'm sure it could be done, but I would really recommend against doing this since RAID protects against devices failing and if both mirrors are on the same drive you don't have any redundancy and you are only loosing capacity.
