A:AnswerHi Busagod, thank you for your question. Yes, 13.7 miles is the approximate range of this product, keeping in mind several factors do go into estimating range. We do recommend a payload of 88-220 lbs. I hope this helps answer your questions. Have a great rest of your day.
A:Answer60+ With multiple sclerosis, that affects ability to walk and have used larger Segway for 10 years and this smaller one since it started selling a few years ago. At 30 lbs, easy to transport in car so can use for shopping and other needs. Can pull a cart around Sams with ease. Get the handle - feels much more secure and easy on/off for storage and transport. I can get it out off the trunk and attach the handle in under 20 seconds. Game changer for those with disability that want to stand and not sit. The Segway/self-balancing technology provides an unimaginable level of freedom and mobility when used by those with a disability and are able to use it safely...and it’s fun as well! It does all the balancing and provides a safer way for me to walk. Have put on more than 3000 miles at work and home that I never could have done without the two Segways. Ninebot is the company that bought Segway a few years ago. They have come out with several models since then and have added Bluetooth, remote control, ‘follow-me, lights and other accessories like kickstands.
A:AnswerIt goes 10mph easily either uphill, level, or downhill. Plenty fast enough for most, feels like 50mph. It could go plenty faster, but the Segway limits itself and automatically slows it’s accelerating, even downhill it wont overspeed on you. Much like its own cruise control. The App lets you set the speed based on your skill level. I even discovered this goes off road pretty well too if you wanted to explore other new areas. Perfect for dog walking effortlessly making walks a piece of cake and keep and up with your pet.Battery life is unbelievable
A:AnswerHi Korzybski! Thank you for reaching out. To answer your question, yes the Ninebot S is compatible with the Segway Go Kart and both products are needed to build it. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
A:AnswerI had mine delivered and had to assemble it. It was super easy to assemble. If I remember correctly there were only two fasteners. They provide an Allen wrench needed to tighten the fasteners. I would suspect that if you purchase in store the Geek Squad could probably assemble for you. Good luck.
A:AnswerMine has been ridden safely and with great joy by kindergarten aged 40 pounders all the way up to 50 year old 200+ pounds, no worries, all fun...great machine!
