• Yes they do. You can also set individual controls for each earbud

• Yes. They will work together or apart. I have an extra one that I lost the bud to. If you get this I recommend you also activate the lost bud locator, AND tag them to your phone, once that is hooked up, if you lose a bud it will take you to where it. I didn't and had to buy another set.
