No it does not have wheels, and it empties like a small trash can after you lift off the shredder on top

To empty, turn off and/or unplug, lift the mechanism off the plastic container, set it on the floor. Then tilt the container over a paper bag for recycling. During the emptying process there will probably be a lot less runaway paper shreds escaping from this small container than from the big one I used previously.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not have wheels. You just dump it to empty it. It empties from the top. It's quiet and fast. I bought it for my husband and the only thing he doesn't like about it is that it stops after it shreds each time.
