A:AnswerHi Barb. If the filter light on your air purifier continues blinking after you've installed a new filter, we advise to reset the filter indicator manually. To do this, press and hold the Filter Life button on the control panel for 3 seconds until the light turns off.
Make sure the new filter is properly installed and seated in the unit. If it’s not aligned correctly, the system may not recognize it. You can also try turning off the air purifier, unplugging it for about 30 seconds, then plugging it back in to clear any lingering alerts.
If the issue persists, please contact our Customer Service team at 1-855-427-5127 for further assistance.
A:AnswerI can’t stand the smell of cat litter, even if it’s fresh and used for a day. I think the unit helped some but cleaning twice a day, and combining different litters to make the “perfect” litter has helped more. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerYes, this Shark Air Purifier automatically senses air quality and adjusts to remove odors, dust particles and airborne droplets, carrying bacteria and viruses.
A:AnswerPet hair is unlikely to clog the unit because it is not typically small enough to pass into the HEPA filter system. However, regular maintenance of the unit, such as wiping down the exterior air intake areas, can ensure optimal airflow if there is significant shedding in the room.
A:AnswerThank you for your question. We’d be happy to provide the accurate information of the filters for the Shark Air Purifier. We kindly invite you to please contact our support team at 1-855-427-5127 for further information.

A:AnswerNo, the filter is not designed to last 6 years. The filter should be replaced when the filter life indicator reaches 0%, which typically occurs every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and air quality conditions.
