The Sharp SMC1169KS microwave will accumulate visible steam and condensation inside the cooking cavity when heating high-water-content items like baked potatoes. This occurs because the intense water vapor released by the food rapidly cools and turns back into liquid droplets upon hitting the unit's interior walls and door. This behavior is entirely normal for this model and not a mechanical defect; it is easily managed by poking holes in the potato skin before cooking and wiping down the interior walls right after use.
