We mounted ours under the cabinet with the included mount. The only thing we had to purchase additional is longer mounting screws that hold the front of the microwave to the front top of the cabinet. We did not need a trim kit. I don't think you should build it into a cabinet (surrounded by cabinet ) if that is what you're asking.
