• The ceiling of the R-930CS microwave does not have vents. The vents are on the rear of the microwave.

• No apparent vent outside unit slots in back/ Top left gets hit with convection. Instructions suggest 1 -2 inches of space all around it.

• This product does not function as a vent hood. It is made to sit on a counter or be installed in a cabinet.

• yes it is vented... keep in mind it is a counter top style, not built in or over the range style

• THE VENTS ARE ON THE BACK. I'M USING MINE ON A STAND, SO VENTING DOESN'T IMPACT ME. BEST BUY DOES HAVE ONE THAT CAN BE BUILT IN, SO CHECK IT OUT.
