Can I use this as a monitor? null

As a monitor, yes you could. It has a USB and HDMI hook ups so you can, I had my laptop hooked up to it already and does pretty well. A desktop may work better as the screen is much bigger than my laptop is. But I was able to surf the net, read email and such with no issues seeing it.

YES! This Tv does not have a VGA but had an extra HDMI you can use as long as your computer had a video card with HDMI OUT. if you dont have HDMI out, you can buy adaptors or a VGA to HDMI cable.
