• The regular smart TV usually comes with limited apps that you can download, but the Roku TV comes with the capability to download any app like any other Roku box or stick. Roku is the best streaming option and a Roku TV comes with it and a Roku remote with the most used shortcuts already on the remote, like; Sling, Roku, Prime, HBO.

• It has inbult Roku in the TV. You need not buy chromecast to cast and use the inbuilt Rolu for casting your videos.

• The normal smart TV will have the manufacturer's own OS and interface to deliver the smart capabilities, each manfucaturer's interface might or might not have all the streaming apps you want. Roku is an independent streaming player for your television, something along the lines of an Apple TV. The Roku Smart TV just has Roku as the inbuilt streaming player, and interface. I preferred the Roku interface specifically because its indepent and so we will not be dependent on Sharp for any future updates and compatibility of apps
