How is the AM and FM reception on this unit? null

It comes with a fairly long wire type antenna. Was a little disappointed in the reception we received with it. We got this for my in laws who live on the bottom floor of a apartment. Does not pick up stations well without antenna strung up and in sight. Have not tried AM stations

Hello, in order to get a good AM/FM reception, it is recommended that this unit be placed close to a window.
