There are numerous web sites that will analyze your situation and recommend one. The FCC and AntennaWeb are just two of them. A great deal depends upon the distance and geography between your home and the broadcast towers as well as how high the antenna will be placed. What has worked for us is two cheap antennas and combining and amplifying their reception. The amplifier cost about $30 as did each antenna and $6 for the "combiner." The installation is in the attic and the terrain is somewhat hilly between tower and home with intervening distance between 20 and 30 miles
