I just purchased this tv a week ago and very recently everytime I change the channel a long, high pitched, beep follows. Is anyone else having this problem? Can't tell if it's my cable provider or the tv. Our last tv was not doing this. Help please!! null

We are having the same problem, called the support and they said they are aware of this problem and there is nothing they can do

I received mine just before Christmas had same problem. It seems to be when channels are broadcast in Dolby digital the problem is the switching. But the good news is as of yesterdays firmware up date it seems the problem is resolved.

Having the same issue with my new Sharp 55” 4K Smart TV. I have a Cisco cable box on Spectrum and it makes a loud beep every time I change the channel

I just bought the 55" Sharp UHD 4K a few days ago and same annoying beeping sound occurs every time I switch channels. Great TV otherwise even though most HD channels dont support 2160. Sound is far better than Vizio. Great black friday cost of $298.00!

I just set up my tv today and I had the same issue of the loud beeping when changing a channel, I checked my tv audio everything was ok. I checked my Directv audio setting and the Dolby Digital setting was not set to any options (2 options: on or off). I set this to "OFF", and in the tv audio menu-Digital Audio Out, I set this to "OFF" or "PCM" both setting clears up the issue. No more loud beeps. 

Test- I set the tv audio menu- Digital Audio Out set to "DD", and set the directv audio to DD/ "ON" and this still had a beep when channels were changed but a very quiet beep.
