Why sharp did not enable hdr on tv model 6000u null

Why should they? HDR will not deliver any regular programming from satellite and cable to enhance the picture quality. It may be better for streaming 4K content, but even that, I think streaming 4K content is automatically enhanced with HDR, I guess. To me, HDR is a waste of extra money they sway you to get, knowing that it means absolutely nothing, for the most part, for general cable and satellite programming.
