QuestionHave had 3 other Sharp ovens since 1983, all came with 2 different metal racks, high and low. None of the photos of this new model show any racks, just the ceramic turntable. Does this model come with RACKS?

QuestionAre the preset functions - auto-defrost, etc. - accurate at altitudes 5,000 ft and up? If not, is there a "magic formula" for changing the item size or time? (High altitudes mean you're cooking at a lower temperature. Water boils at 200-ish or less.)

- Answer Hello Randy, please be advised that trim kits are designed for a specific unit. We recommend using the trim kit that was made for the specific model. We suggest model SMC1585BS. QuestionI have an old Sharp R-9H76 that just pooped out on me. Love the unit so just want to replace it. It was built in using the Sharp RK-66A built-in kit. Will I be able to slide this new unit into the old kit? Specs for that kit are 19.9” x 19.5” x 27”

- Answer Hello, the dimensions of this unit is width 24.7" x height 14.9" x depth 19". I am sorry I would not be able to make any recommendation with regards to the Trim Kit. However, we have a designated Trim Kit for this model, the part number is RK9427 (which is 27") and RK94S30 (which is 30").

QuestionWe have a Dacor DCM24S wall unit with trim. Measures 24 5/8 x 14 7/8 x19. Would this Sharp fit in the same cutout space? There is very slight gaps on trim sides and top.

- Answer Yes. Local electronics store confirmed that Sharp makes Dacor Microwave. Will be replacing my Dacor DCM24S with the Sharp version for 1/2 the price.
