Do the cards have a expiration date to use them by null

In New Jersey there are no expiration dates on gc. May be nation wide. Think ill google that

They do but it’s 7 years from the date of purchase if I’m not mistaken. It’s on the back of the card.

Not sure about that since I don't have a shell gift card at this time. But i'd imagine, definitely there should be a expiration date. But I can tell you for a fact that get $25 cards so that you can use them once and be done with it. The only issue, I've noticed is that if you pre-pay ($20), and use ($17) instead of the full amount pre-paid, then you lose the unused money ($3). Happened to me once, and since then I've planned to use the full card or used the entire pre-paid amount, as the unused balance doesn't get credited back. I hope that helps!
