No unfortunately they do not have this feature to read the messages. I would recommend the Powerbeats or Beats Pro.

Hello- Shokz here! Typically there is an accessibility setting on the phone allowing for messages and calls to be spoken aloud. If these settings are set up, the OpenFit will read them. If a keyboard setting for "Enable Dictation" is turned on, you can also turn on voice to text and it will work with the OpenFit. The specific settings will vary depending on the phone being used. These are just bluetooth earbuds. If you have an app that reads texts to you automatically, then yes.

that's more of a question of your phone/device's abilities I think. You can connect these via bluetooth to your phone and then use the dictate function on your keyboard and the earbuds will pick up your dictation. You can't initiate or respond to a text just from the earbuds though, you need your phone or device to do that
