A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! The OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade is a premium communication-focused headset, whereas the OpenMove is an entry-level lifestyle headset. The 2025 OpenComm2 upgrade features a superior noise-canceling boom microphone, 16 hours of talk time, USB-C charging, and Loop120 adapter support for PC, compared to the OpenMove's 6-hour battery, no boom mic, and USB-C. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerYes, the part of the buds that contain the speakers has a magnet built in strong enough to help keep the buds touching when not worn (good for keeping it from getting tangled in a backpack for example)
You should reach out to your son's Neurosurgical team so they can check with the device manufacturer on this; due to the nature of how headphones work most audio devices contain magnets, it is just a question of how far the magnet is from the skin and the exact position of the VP shunt.
(this is not medical advice, just confirming that there does seem to be a moderately strong magnet in these earbuds and encouraging you to discuss with your son's provider team)
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! The OpenMove is a budget-friendly choice for Work From Home (WFH) calls, offering comfort for long meetings due to its open-ear design, which keeps you aware of your surroundings. However, its microphone quality is only average and lacks a boom mic, making it better for quiet home offices rather than noisy environments. Our OpenComm models are a popular choice for WFH as they have a boom mic and are Zoom certified. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Yes, you can wear Shokz OpenMove bone conduction headphones with most hearing aids. Their open-ear, ear-hook design sits in front of the ear, allowing you to use hearing aids for ambient sound while simultaneously streaming audio via Bluetooth, though fit may depend on the size of your hearing aids. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Yes, Shokz OpenMove headphones will work with an iPhone 6S, as they are compatible with most Bluetooth devices, including iPhones and Android phones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Our OpenMove headphones use a combination of bone conduction technology to deliver audio to your inner ear and AI noise cancellation for calls, filtering out environmental sounds from the microphone. This allows you to remain aware of your surroundings while ensuring your voice is clearer on calls by reducing background noise for the person on the other end.
When you're on a phone call, the OpenMove's microphones are designed to filter out background noise. The AI technology helps to isolate your voice from the surrounding sounds, making your voice clearer to the person you're speaking with.
Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions :) Thanks!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Yes, the Shokz OpenMove headphones come with a USB-C charging cable. The cable is included in the box with the headphones, a protective case, and a user manual.
However, please note that the package does not include the USB wall adapter (the power block). You will need to use a separate USB wall charger or a USB port on a computer to charge the headphones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! Yes these will technically pair with gaming systems (i.e., PlayStation, Xbox, etc.) but we don’t recommend it because the lag is significant and would impact gameplay, overall.
And The PS5 does not support direct pairing with other Bluetooth headphones for audio output. To enable the connection, you need to use a compatible Bluetooth adapter, and plug the adapter into the PS5's USB port. But it should work for any Shokz models, better with the OpenComm2. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! Most wearable devices include low-powered radiofrequency (RF) transmitters to enable them to communicate with other devices nearby. To be sold in the United States, all such devices must meet Federal Communications Commission (FCC) limits for human exposure to RF radiation. Wearable devices expose the user to lower amounts of RF radiation compared to exposure limits. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!
A:AnswerHello Veronica- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience. The OpenMove should be able to connect to multiple devices. In this case, we'd suggest a manual reset of the headphones. If the reset doesn't resolve the issues, all Shokz come with a 2-year warranty. Please reach out to us if you need further assistance. Thank you!
A:AnswerHi there- Shokz here! The OpenMove can be used with most Bluetooth compatible devices. However, we are not sure if the TV allows for both headphones and the TV speakers to work at the same time. We kindly ask that you look into the TV model to see if that is possible. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions regarding your Shokz. Thanks!
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! The OpenMove does not have a mute button. Our OpenComm2UC does. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
A:AnswerHello- Shokz here! The neckpiece itself does not vibrate, however, depending on the volume level there may be some vibrations felt mostly near the earbuds. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
