• I have used for about a year while swimming laps and have not any issues. I did use some keepers on my snorkeling mask as I use a lap pool that can push a lot of water, depending on my velocity settings. I'd highly recommend. I'm going to try on my next scuba diving trip.

• These specifically are not made for swimming but they do make some that are specifically for use while swimming.

• Look for the Shokz that are specifically for swimming. Rain and sweat are the limits for open run pro model

• I wouldn't. If said right in the manual that they d are water resistant, not water proof
