• Hi there- Shokz here! While these can be used while lying down or sleeping, it's possible the headband near the back of the neck may interfere with lying down on the back. • Others might disagree, but I cannot lie down with these - even on my soft pillow. The band goes across the back of your head and there is a little space between the band and your head, so if you lie down, it pushes on the band which moves the speakers forward and away from your ear. And I have tinnitus as well, but I just sleep w/o device assistance. I know many others with the malady cannot.
