A:AnswerI did have to start the month all over. I was not using the device so I only had used about 13 GB but I still had to pay the total price for the next month however as long as you charge it you can take it with you anywhere. you don’t have to keep reconnecting to the device. That’s an added plus.
But you can use the app to upload your payment easily or even have a direct withdrawal.
A:AnswerSimple Mobile says they work off of the AT&T towers, but I have cell service with AT&T and have no issues with reception. I have been told that US Cellular has good reception in some remote areas. Good luck
A:AnswerSince this device uses Simple Mobile which in turn uses T-Mobile's network, you may get your answer by checking T-Mobile's network coverage map for your area: https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map

A:AnswerNo it acts much like a cell phone comes with it's own Sim card with AT&T. You buy internet time on a pay as you go plan. Mine has directions for using on an iPhone but I don't have an iPhone any longer. It is a hot spot so will connect to a computer or cell phone. Only 4G however.
A:AnswerAs far as I can tell, you cannot use an AT&T SIM card inside a Simple Mobile hotspot.
This hotspot comes with a SIM card for you to activate with the Simple Mobile company, and you pay Simple Mobile for data.
Also, Simple Mobile uses the T-Mobile system of cell towers, not AT&T's.
A:AnswerIt depends if this other house is serviced well by the T-Mobile coverage map.
Simple Mobile uses T-Mobile's cell towers.
Maybe your son's cell phone uses some other carrier network (such as Verizon's, for example).
Certain cities and neighborhoods just happen to get different strengths of cell signal from different networks.
A:AnswerI could be wrong but I believe it only works with AT&T. It is a AT&T product that is a pay as you go by buying GB on a card no contract. I use it about 2 times a month when visiting my 95 year old MIL who doesn't have Wi-Fi in her home. I can also use it when traveling in my RV at remote camp grounds. It probably has the same limitations as my cell phone. It is a cheaper solution than the more expensive units and works great so far.
A:AnswerI purchased my card at best buy.com I think it was 34.00 or 35.00 I didn’t use all but the amount rolls over to next month. I used it while on a 4 hour trip and at the hotel to check my bank account since WiFi at the hotel isn’t secure!
