“Will this dispenser work with any brand or type of dish washing soap?”

Yes, I use various brands of soap. Just be careful of the brands with added beads or really thick texture.

Hi, Acceptable: Bath & Body Works Cleanwell Dial Dr. Bronner's EO Method Mrs. Meyers Seventh Generation Not recommended:Lysol Soft-soap Although, dishwashing liquid is not listed, our pumps can handle it. Our pumps are not designed for foaming liquid soaps.
